Let me start the ball rolling! If we’re reflecting on highlights, I think 10 minutes might be enough instead of 30.

I signed up for mentoring at work and had a great time meeting my new mentor—such a fun start!

I’m grateful that Opa brought my daughter to music class, which let me spend time with my son.

Which was another highlight of my day—spending time with my son, being silly and laughing together.

It made me realize I want more silliness and laughter in our lives.

What were your highlights today?

That's great! Let me know how it goes. So based on my experience yesterday, for a simple reflection on highlights of the day or anything that comes to mind can be done in 10 minutes. I plan to do longer sessions over the weekend to review the year :)

Love this new series, Rachel! The biggest events for me this year were welcoming my baby nephew into our family and leaving the corporate tech world 🎉 Both have helped me be a lot more present.

Both are such key events! It's great when they help us to be present, and to truly live :)

The 'come as you want to be' party is so clever and surprisingly deep! What a wonderful tradition to share, too. This year was writing 500 words every morning, so that's my reflective practice and let me tell you, it is hard sometimes, but mostly, it's gold, stick with it. This has been one of the best new habits I've formed. xo

Wow Lani, that is a very brave goal. I love it. That's the key right, stick to it. Now you have such a repository of gold!

Hahaha. I’m not sure about that, but it’s a good way to get the ‘busy brain’ on paper.

My biggest reflection this year is that I actually achieved the goal I wanted to achieve in the beginning of the year: start writing again. In fact I've far surpassed my expectations so that's pretty cool!
