Letters from Mongolia: If Life is Like Sand in an Hourglass

You can always earn back your money but you can never earn back a life.

Traveling had thought me much that life is but a fleeting moment. To make true sense of it is to make a difference in lives of the people you love. Then you have the capacity onwards to the world.

No doubt we need to fulfil our own needs as well. A dry well will never be able to fill another’s.

Now I intend to live a fulfilled life, a life where time is spent doing what I enjoy, filling my well enough to spill to my loved ones’ wells. Then if I have the fortune I can then fill in the wells of the world.

If life is but a sand in an hourglass, let it be as magnificent as the Khongor sand dune.
